
Actor Jang Dong-joo Posts Cryptic 'I'm Sorry' Message on SNS, Fans Express Concern
Actor Jang Dong-joo has sparked worry among his fans with a sudden apology post on social media.
On the 31st, Jang Dong-joo shared a plain black image on his SNS account with the simple caption, "I'm sorry."
His agency, Nexus ENM, stated they are "currently verifying the facts" while maintaining a cautious stance. Reports indicate that the agency has not yet been able to reach Jang Dong-joo.
Prior to the apology post, Jang Dong-joo had uploaded a photo of himself resting comfortably with actor Lee Ju-an, who plays Gong-gil in the tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef,' captioning it, "With Gong-gil from 'The Tyrant's Chef.'"
Jang Dong-joo debuted in 2017 with the KBS 2TV drama 'School 2017' and has since appeared in various projects including OCN's 'Class of Lies,' SBS's 'Let Me Sleep On Your Night,' and Netflix's 'Trigger.'
In 2021, he gained attention for personally apprehending a hit-and-run driver who was under the influence of alcohol. At the time, he explained that he witnessed a foreign car hit a delivery motorcycle and flee the scene, pursued it, and politely urged the driver to resolve the accident, but the driver attempted to escape again.
Fans are flooding his social media with comments like, "What happened? I'm worried," "Did something bad happen?" and "I hope he's okay."
