Singer Sean has touched hearts with his continuous charitable efforts and the announcement of his plan to open an ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) care center.

Featured on MBC's entertainment show 'Omniscient Interfering View' (hereafter 'Omniscient View') on the 6th, Sean's warm heart and dedicated activities were highlighted. MC Jeon Hyun-moo introduced Sean, noting his cumulative donations reaching 6.5 billion won and expressing surprise at his significant social contributions predating his music career.

Sean began his day with early morning training under the guidance of marathoner Kwon Eun-joo, emphasizing his commitment to health. When asked about his recent activities, Sean shared that he and his wife, Jung Hye-young, have personally donated 6.5 billion won. He also detailed his involvement in large-scale projects, including the construction of a children's hospital worth 44 billion won and providing housing for independence patriots. He mentioned that his consistent giving began 20 years ago with a promise to his wife to save 10,000 won daily, which has accumulated significantly over time.

Notably, Sean became emotional while discussing the ALS care center he has been planning for 16 years. This project, initiated through his connection with the late former basketball player Park Seung-il, aims to build a facility equipped with features like underfloor heating to ensure patients' comfort. Despite the anticipated annual deficit of 2 to 3 billion won for the center's operation, Sean expressed his determination to secure funding through various means, including support from 1,000 churches donating 100,000 won monthly and donations from 10,000 individuals.

Sean's sincere stories of giving and his noble endeavors deeply resonated with viewers, with actress Han Ji-eun shedding tears and Lee Young-ja reflecting on her own life.

Sean debuted in 1997 as part of the hip-hop duo Jinusean and gained widespread popularity. After marrying actress Jung Hye-young in 2004, he has been consistently donating over 100 million won annually for more than 20 years, earning him the nickname 'Angel of Donation'. Sean is also an active athlete, promoting a culture of donation through his participation in marathons.
