Singer Won Hyuk Ventures into Essay Writing with a Focus on Parenting!
Singer Won Hyuk is set to publish an essay detailing his parenting journey. In a video uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Appo TV' on the 9th, Won Hyuk revealed that he received an offer to publish a book and, after much consideration, decided to take on the challenge.
"I was grateful, but also wondered if I could do it well," Won Hyuk shared honestly about his initial feelings. He added, "I felt like I wanted to try it, so I met with them." The proposal for the book emerged during the meeting, and he recalled his wife, Lee Soo-min, enthusiastically supporting the idea, saying, "She told me to do it no matter what, saying it could be a memory and a good opportunity."
The main theme of the essay will naturally be parenting. "All of our lives are focused on the baby. I think the stories will stem from that," Won Hyuk explained. The publisher also expressed anticipation, stating, "An essay sharing daily life can create greater empathy."
Won Hyuk mentioned that many fans who became interested after seeing his family's story on 'Mr. Trot 2' are now supporting him. He also touched upon why the 'Appo TV' channel, which features content bridging generations with his wife Lee Soo-min and father-in-law Lee Yong-sik, has become popular as a 'family YouTube channel like a human documentary'.
Meanwhile, Won Hyuk gained recognition through TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2'. He married Lee Soo-min, comedian Lee Yong-sik's daughter, last April and welcomed their first daughter, Lee El, in May of this year. He is currently sharing his newlywed and parenting life with fans through the family YouTube channel 'Appo TV'.
