Rookie boy group CORTIS is making waves in the global music scene, achieving a rare feat of landing two consecutive No. 1 hits on Spotify's Daily Viral Songs Global chart. The intro track 'GO!' from their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' secured the top spot for two days (Sept. 9-10), following their title track 'What You Want' which held the No. 1 position for an entire week prior (Sept. 1-7).

This remarkable achievement for a new group, especially with two different songs, highlights their rapidly growing international appeal. The Spotify chart tracks songs gaining significant traction through increased streams and shares, offering insight into emerging global music trends. As of September 11, 'GO!' has expanded its reach by charting in 23 countries and regions, claiming the No. 1 spot in seven of those markets, including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Indonesia.

The buzz is further amplified on social media, particularly TikTok, where over 64,000 videos have been created using 'GO!' as of September 12. Domestically, CORTIS has also demonstrated strong performance on Apple Music Korea's Top 100 Today chart, with every track from their debut album charting, and 'What You Want' and 'GO!' both breaking into the Top 10.

Consisting of members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho, CORTIS represents Big Hit Music's first new boy group in six years, following in the footsteps of BTS and TXT. They are continuing their promotional activities with a performance of 'FaSHioN' on KBS2's Music Bank this Friday.

CORTIS, hailing from Big Hit Music, is positioned as the agency's next generation boy group after BTS and TXT. The group's name is inspired by the hormone Cortisol, symbolizing their aim to deliver positive energy to fans. The members are actively involved in songwriting, composing, and choreography, showcasing their multifaceted musical talents.
