Hitmaker Black Eyed Pilseung Duo Parts Ways: Rado and Choi Gyu-sung to Pursue Solo Careers

The renowned music production duo Black Eyed Pilseung, comprised of Rado and Choi Gyu-sung, has officially disbanded. A representative from High Up Entertainment confirmed on the 13th that the two producers have decided to go their separate ways due to differing musical styles.

Choi Gyu-sung had already departed from the company at the end of March. Rado and Choi Gyu-sung, both born in the same year, had been working together as Black Eyed Pilseung since 2014, creating a string of hits for various artists.

Their impressive discography includes chart-topping songs like TWICE's 'OOH-AHH하게', 'Cheer Up', and 'TT', as well as Chungha's 'Roller Coaster' and SISTAR's 'Touch My Body'. In 2017, they founded their own agency, High Up Entertainment, and debuted the girl group STAYC in 2020, further showcasing their talent in artist development and production.

Black Eyed Pilseung, consisting of Rado and Choi Gyu-sung, established themselves as top hitmakers in the K-pop industry starting in 2014. They were responsible for numerous chart-topping songs for artists such as TWICE, Chungha, and SISTAR. Beyond producing, they founded High Up Entertainment in 2017 and successfully launched the girl group STAYC in 2020.
