Lee Min-woo Begins Cohabitation with Fiancée and Six Daughters; Wardrobe Conflict Erupts
Singer Lee Min-woo has started a new cohabitation life with his fiancée and her six daughters at his parents' home.
The first day of their combined living situation within the Lee Min-woo family was revealed on the KBS2 entertainment program 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' (hereafter 'Mr. House Husband'), broadcast on the 13th, drawing significant attention from viewers.
Lee Min-woo's parents welcomed their new family members with a generously prepared meal. His fiancée, who is from Japan, expressed her gratitude for the thoughtfully prepared food, stating, 'In Japan, we don't usually make this much, so I was truly thankful for such a spread on a hot day.' However, she found the Korean dishes quite spicy compared to what she usually eats, continuously reaching for water and laughing, 'It's delicious, but it's spicy.'
Upon the in-laws' encouragement, she tried the seasoned small shrimp and perilla leaf dishes. In an interview, she honestly confessed, 'I wanted to enjoy the food my parents-in-law prepared for us, but I felt a little uncomfortable.'
After a phone call with her mother back in Japan, the fiancée became teary, saying, 'It's only been a few hours since I came to Korea from Japan, but I already miss my mom.' Lee Min-woo's mother comforted her, saying, 'But I'm here now, so I'll take good care of you.'
However, the reality of cohabitation proved challenging. When the fiancée opened a closet to unpack her belongings, she was faced with a wardrobe entirely filled with Lee Min-woo's clothes.
Watching this segment from the studio, Eun Ji-won exclaimed in frustration, 'Just throw it all away and live with only your underwear. What are you going to do?' Baek Ji-young added, 'He knew they were coming, so why didn't he organize it?'
Ultimately, Lee Min-woo's mother sternly admonished him, 'Your clothes have completely filled the closet. I'm so embarrassed for our daughter-in-law to see this,' and added, 'Do you think just adding a spoon makes a dining table ready? Nothing is prepared.'
Lee Min-woo debuted in 1998 as a member of the hip-hop duo 'Roo'ra' and later continued his solo career under the name 'M'. He gained popularity for his powerful dancing and charismatic vocals. He is currently active in various entertainment programs.
