Singer Yoo Seung-jun, also known as Steve Yoo, has shared his latest activities, including attending his son's swimming competition, while reflecting on his complex emotions.

Yoo released a new video on his personal YouTube channel titled 'Introducing My Second Son Rowan (Jian), Who Looks Just Like Yoo Seung-jun.' The video documented his son's swimming meet, with his wife also present to cheer him on.

In the 100m freestyle preliminary, his son clocked 54.87 seconds, slightly missing his target. However, in the finals, he improved by 0.4 seconds, finishing second with 54.44 seconds, setting a new personal best. The subsequent 200m freestyle saw him narrowly miss his goal of 1 minute 57.79 seconds, completing the race in 1 minute 58.05 seconds. Despite falling short of his target, both Yoo and his wife encouraged his efforts.

Accompanying the video, Yoo expressed his gratitude, stating, 'Watching Jian always work hard reminds me of my own youth... I am so thankful.' He added, 'I have a loving wife who has stayed by my side then and now. Today, I live with a sense of debt to the people I love.'

He further commented, 'There are times when my heart breaks due to twisted truths and distorted sincerity. But the reason I find strength again is also because of the people I love.' Addressing speculation about his desire to return to Korea for commercial activities, he stated, 'I am already very happy and grateful. Even as things are, I am living a life that is more than I deserve.'

Yoo Seung-jun has been banned from entering South Korea since 2002 due to controversy over military service evasion. His attempts to obtain an Overseas Korean (F-4) visa have been denied multiple times, though he recently won his third lawsuit regarding visa issuance. His ability to enter the country remains uncertain.

Debuting in 1997, Yoo Seung-jun quickly rose to fame with hit songs like 'Scissor' and 'Nanana'. He renounced his South Korean citizenship and acquired US citizenship in 2002, sparking controversy over alleged military service evasion. He currently communicates with the public and shares updates through his YouTube channel.
