Kim Byung-man Steps Into Fatherhood, Publicly Reveals Son and Upcoming Wedding

Broadcaster Kim Byung-man, widely known as the 'chieftain of the jungle,' is embarking on a new chapter as a family man and a father.

In the TV Chosun program 'Joseon's Lover' aired on the 15th, Kim Byung-man was featured on a special outing with his son, Ttoki.

Kim Byung-man expressed his excitement, stating, "I've always spent time only with my wife. Today is the first time I'm going out alone with my son."

He shared his heartfelt feelings, "I used to hide and be cautious due to the public's gaze. But now, I won't hide anymore. I will go out with my child and laugh together."

Even when neighbors recognized him while walking, Kim Byung-man proudly smiled and said, "This is my son." The production team remarked that he looked genuinely happy in that moment.

When Ttoki asked, "Dad, do you like it?", Kim Byung-man smiled and replied, "Yes," breaking down a long-standing barrier.

Kim Byung-man also announced his wedding date on the broadcast. He is set to marry his non-celebrity fiancée, Hyun Eun-jae, who is younger than him, on the 20th at the rooftop of Semit Island in Seoul.

Describing his bride-to-be, Kim Byung-man revealed his deep affection, calling her "the one who helped me stand up again, the one and only woman in the world." His close friend Lee Soo-geun is expected to host the ceremony, and singer KCM will perform as a congratulatory singer.

Kim Byung-man married his non-celebrity girlfriend in December 2018 after a seven-year relationship. He welcomed his son in September 2021, receiving numerous congratulations. This recent broadcast highlights his more personal, family-oriented side.
