Actress Jang Seo-hee and comedian Son Min-soo have sent a video message to President Lee Jae-myung, representing the 'Birth Reporters' on TV Chosun's 'My Baby Was Born Again'.

The show's premiere on the 16th revealed the birth of quadruplets, bringing both emotion and a spotlight on the challenges faced by parents of multiple children.

While a government 'First Meeting Voucher' benefit exists, the immediate costs of hospital and postpartum care present a significant burden, compounded by the fact that benefit disbursement can take up to a month.

Quadruplets are often born underweight, leading to rejections for fetal and child insurance policies. In this case, the mother's medical history, including aspirin prescriptions during pregnancy to prevent complications, further complicated insurance enrollment.

Park Soo-hong expressed concern, stating, 'Taxes should be used where insurance is more desperately needed.' Jang Seo-hee and Kim Chan-woo echoed this sentiment, urging for greater awareness to drive policy changes.

Son Min-soo, an expectant father of twins, appealed to the Minister of Health and Welfare to focus on fetal insurance policies. Jang Seo-hee also addressed politicians, asking them to consider the needs of parents and create a society where working mothers can thrive with peace of mind.

Jang Seo-hee debuted in 1991 and quickly rose to prominence, starring in numerous hit dramas and films that defined an era of Korean television. She earned critical acclaim for her powerful portrayals, often embodying complex characters with a strong sense of justice. Beyond her acting career, Jang Seo-hee remains a beloved public figure, frequently appearing on variety shows and maintaining a strong connection with her fans.
