According to the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul on the 6th, police and fire authorities discovered Daeddo deceased in his home in Gwangjin-gu around 8:40 AM that morning. An acquaintance had reported concerns after Daeddo failed to appear for a scheduled meeting and was unreachable.

Daeddo had been actively participating in public events recently, appearing at the VIP premiere of the movie 'The Exorcist' in February and the '2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week' just two days prior. His last post on May 14th shared moments from the '#YouTubeFestival,' where he was seen posing energetically, a stark contrast to the somber news that followed. NA DONG HYUN, widely known as 'Daeddo', was a pioneer in the Korean internet broadcasting scene, launching his career in 2010.
