CORTIS Lights Up Debut Album Release Party with Global Fans

Rookie group CORTIS has celebrated the release of their debut album with a special fan meeting, creating unforgettable moments.

The 'CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY' was held on the 8th at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, featuring all tracks from their debut EP performed live.

The event was broadcast globally via Weverse, the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel, and TikTok. Weverse alone connected with fans from 190 countries and regions, including the US, Japan, and Indonesia.

CORTIS kicked off the party by unveiling the performance for their follow-up track, 'FaSHioN,' captivating the audience with their overflowing charisma and high-energy performance. Following 'GO!', they expressed their excitement, stating, "This is CORTIS's first solo concert since our debut. We want to enjoy this special day together. Let's party!"

The energy reached its peak with the title track 'What You Want.' The performance boasted a larger scale than broadcast stages, utilizing 31 treadmills for a dynamic display. Members moved fluidly between the main and extended stages, met with thunderous cheers and fan chants.

The setlist also included the premieres of 'JoyRide' and 'Lullaby,' captivating fans further. Their stable live vocals drew considerable admiration. Responding to overwhelming fan demand, they performed multiple unannounced encore stages, even venturing into the audience to make eye contact, truly immersing themselves in the performance.

During the event, the members shared various stories from their trainee days and the album production process. They also showcased their 'Young Creator Crew' identity by presenting self-produced content, including a 'GO!' dance practice video and behind-the-scenes footage for 'What You Want' and the official music video for 'Lullaby.'

Towards the end, CORTIS shared heartfelt words, looking out at the crowd: "We ran hard to see this beautiful scene. It's a privilege to stand on this stage, and we are truly grateful to our fans. We've only been debuted for three weeks. We hope you'll continue to be with us for the many days ahead."

CORTIS is the latest group launched by Big Hit Music, a HYBE label, marking their first new group in six years. They are set to begin promotions for 'FaSHioN' with a conceptual performance film focusing on the choreography, releasing on the 9th, followed by their Mnet 'M Countdown' stage on the 11th.

CORTIS is a 5-member boy group that debuted on March 21, 2024, under Big Hit Music.

Comprising members Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Gunho, the group has garnered attention for their distinct visuals and performances.

They are recognized as 'Young Creators' for their active involvement in album planning, songwriting, composition, and music video production.
