Actress Park Han-byul is set to return to television in a heartwarming rural healing romance titled 'You Came From the Field' on NBS Korea Agricultural Broadcasting.

Her agency, Chan Entertainment, officially announced on the 9th that Park Han-byul has been cast as the lead character, Ha Se-yeon. The drama tells the story of a top star who visits a rural village named 'Undong-ri' for a reality TV show filming.

Ha Se-yeon, played by Park Han-byul, is a former top star who, despite initial awkwardness and clumsiness in the unfamiliar countryside, gradually wins over the villagers with her bright and confident energy. Her journey is expected to bring both comfort and a touch of romance to the local community.

The production team praised Park Han-byul's clear and warm image, along with her relatable acting style, as a perfect match for the character. They anticipate she will showcase an irresistible charm that viewers will find endearing.

This role marks a new challenge for Park Han-byul, allowing her to display a lovable, slightly ditzy side, contrasting with the more composed and rational character she portrayed in the recently filmed movie 'Karma'. Her agency expressed confidence that her performance will provide significant comfort and joy to the audience, highlighting her inherent human appeal.

'You Came From the Field' is currently in the detailed planning stages and is slated for full-scale production after thorough preparation, promising to deliver warmth and relatable stories to viewers.

Park Han-byul debuted in 2002 through the magazine Shinbiroheum. She has built her acting experience through various works such as the dramas 'Different Dreams', 'Love in Sadness', and the films 'Derailed', and the 'Whispering Corridors' series. Her recent film was 'Karma'.
