YouTuber Tzuyang's Stalker, Kang Se-ro's Kim Se-ui, Sent to Prosecution

Kim Se-ui, CEO of the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Institute' (GSI), who was sued by YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won) for stalking and defamation, has been sent to prosecution.

On the 9th, the Gangnam Police in Seoul announced that they had sent CEO Kim to prosecution without detention on charges including violations of the Stalking Punishment Act, defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, and threats.

Last July, CEO Kim caused controversy by releasing recorded conversations on the GSI YouTube channel suggesting Tzuyang was being threatened by YouTuber Gu Je-yi, mentioning Tzuyang's past work at an adult entertainment establishment as a basis for the alleged threat. Tzuyang explained this was due to coercion by a former boyfriend, but CEO Kim insisted the explanation was false. Subsequently, Tzuyang filed a complaint against CEO Kim with the Gangnam Police for defamation, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and threats.

Despite an initial decision by the police not to prosecute due to insufficient evidence, the prosecution ordered a supplementary investigation after Tzuyang's side filed an appeal, bringing the case back to the forefront. The Gangnam Police reassigned the case to a different team for further investigation. The court had previously issued two orders for Kim to cease stalking activities. Tzuyang's legal representative stated that their client hopes for a swift indictment and a fair judgment from the court.

Tzuyang is a popular YouTuber known for her mukbang (eating show) content, captivating viewers with her petite appearance and enormous appetite. She began her YouTube journey in 2018 and has steadily grown her subscriber base with consistent food-related videos. She also engages with her audience by sharing her thoughts on various social issues.
