Director Jang Young-seok of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Ttry: We Become Miracles' (hereinafter referred to as 'Ttry') has shared his thoughts on the drama's conclusion and expressed his thanks for the comparisons to 'Stove League'.

In a written interview with OSEN on the 10th, Director Jang stated, 'I am deeply grateful to the many viewers who watched and cherished 'Ttry'. Although it may have had its shortcomings, I hope it remains a memorable drama for many.' He added, 'Personally, I feel like I've graduated from somewhere, similar to how the 'Hanyang University Boys' have graduated.' He described the feeling as a mix of relief and a touch of regret, emphasizing that all reactions, both criticism and encouragement, were appreciated.

'Ttry' concluded on the 30th of last month with a positive note, achieving a peak viewership rating of 7.9%. The drama received praise for its compelling narrative and the strong performance of Yoon Kye-sang as the 'all-around character' Joo Ga-ram, continuing SBS's successful streak in sports dramas.

When asked about the 'second Stove League' comparisons, Director Jang admitted, 'As a loyal viewer of 'Stove League', I never imagined such a reaction during the production stage.' He further elaborated, 'While 'Stove League' was an office drama centered on a baseball team, I thought 'Ttry', focusing on a rugby club as a youth story, had a slightly different genre direction. However, after the drama was released, I realized there was a significant audience craving 'sports genre' and 'growth narratives.'

Director Jang Young-seok has proven his directorial prowess in the sports drama genre with 'Ttry', following the successes of 'Stove League' and 'Racket Boys'. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the viewers for their support and feedback. Jang is committed to delivering more engaging content and memorable stories to the audience in the future.
