Actress and former singer Yoon Eun-hye has shared the devastating reason behind her departure from the music industry, revealing a terrifying incident that left her in peril. Appearing on the SBS program 'Those Days We Chased Each Other' on the 11th, Yoon Eun-hye confessed her past trauma while watching a segment about violent events during Seoul's urban redevelopment in the 1990s.

"While it's incomparable to the pain of the residents facing demolition, I too was once targeted with a water gun filled with acid during my singing career, nearly losing my sight, and was pelted with raw eggs," Yoon Eun-hye disclosed, detailing the psychological distress she endured. She further admitted, "That fear still lingers today," emphasizing the lasting impact of such trauma.

The star also touched upon the severe violence, verbal abuse, and even sexual assault experienced by the residents, her voice trembling as she spoke of their unimaginable suffering.

Yoon Eun-hye first entered the entertainment scene as a member of the popular girl group Baby Vox in 1999. She later achieved solo singing success before successfully transitioning into acting with the 2006 drama 'Princess Hours'. Known for her distinct fashion sense, she has also earned the title of 'fashionista'.
