The upcoming 9th episode of Mnet's 'BOYS PLANET' is set to ignite excitement worldwide with the premiere of four new semi-final songs, showcasing a diverse range of performances from explosive energy to sweet romance.

Set to air today, November 11th, at 9:20 PM KST, the episode will feature 'MAIN DISH,' 'Lucky MACHO,' 'Chains,' and 'Sugar HIGH.' As contestants have consistently demonstrated growth and powerful stage presence throughout the competition, anticipation is high to see how they will captivate the star creators this time.

The production lineup for these new tracks is equally impressive. 'MAIN DISH,' characterized by its powerful beat, boasts participation from members of the virtual boy group PLAVE in songwriting, composition, and choreography. Their involvement adds a unique layer, and their expression of joy in gifting a self-made song has already garnered attention.

'Lucky MACHO' is a hybrid hip-hop track blending trap and Miami bass elements. Produced by globally recognized K-pop market players TRIPPY and Benji Bae, the song emphasizes bold transitions and a free-spirited vibe, with choreography by dance masters KANGY and Baek Koo-young enhancing its appeal.

'Chains' features the collaborative efforts of lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung, known for hits with Girls' Generation, IZ*ONE, and SEVENTEEN, alongside producers TOYO, FRANTS, AVENUE 52, and SQVARE. The song promises a tense performance with delicate lyrics about entangled emotions, complemented by a dreamy piano and heavy bass.

Finally, 'Sugar HIGH' is a collaboration by iHwak, the 220VOLT crew (MirrorBOY, D.ham, Mun Hanmiru), and Royal Dive, who have worked with prominent K-pop artists like TWICE, NCT, ATEEZ, ITZY, and ENHYPEN. Its refreshing sound and rhythmic melody capture the sweet moments of first love, offering a glimpse into the contestants' youthful charms.

These new songs will also be released as digital singles today, November 11th, at 6 PM KST. A 'Semi-Final New Song Streaming Evaluation' will be conducted based on major Korean music charts, with rankings tallied on November 12th at 9 AM KST. The results, potentially worth up to 200,000 points, will directly impact the contestants' rankings, potentially shaking up the final survival competition.

The performances leading to the final are scheduled to be broadcast tonight at 9:20 PM on Mnet's 'BOYS PLANET' 9th episode.
