Trot Star Jeon Yu-jin Signs Exclusive Contract with New 1-Person Label J-Label

Young trot sensation Jeon Yu-jin is embarking on a new chapter. Following OSEN's exclusive report on the 11th, Jeon Yu-jin has officially signed an exclusive contract with J-Label, a newly established independent label.

J-Label was founded by Lim Dong-kyun, CEO of Showplay Entertainment, specifically for Jeon Yu-jin, signaling a significant investment in her solo career. This move marks her departure from her mother's agency, Only U Entertainment, and sets the stage for her dedicated activities under the new label.

Born in 2006, Jeon Yu-jin first gained recognition after winning the Grand Prize at the Pohang Beach National Song Festival in 2019. She subsequently appeared on various KBS programs like 'Trot is Good,' 'Miss Trot 2,' and 'Tuesday Night is Good.' Her breakthrough came last year when she was crowned the champion of MBN's 'Heonyeok Gasoo' (Queen of Trot), earning the title of the inaugural 'Queen of Trot,' and has since released popular songs like 'Love Essay' and 'Now I Will Protect You.'

Jeon Yu-jin first emerged as a promising trot artist after winning the Grand Prize at the 19th Pohang Beach National Song Festival in 2019. In 2023, she was crowned the winner and inaugural 'Queen of Trot' on MBN's 'Heonyeok Gasoo', solidifying her position in the industry. She continues to actively release music and appear on television, captivating audiences with her robust vocals and stage presence, establishing herself as a next-generation trot star.
