Fond memories and deep respect are being shared for the late Daed Library (real name: Na Dong-hyun), remembered as a first-generation game broadcaster who forged a path for the industry.

Kim Sung-hoe, a fellow creator, recently released a video on his YouTube channel 'Kim Sung-hoe's G-Encyclopedia' titled "What I Saw, Heard, and Felt at Daed Library's Wake." He likened the deceased to "Seo Taiji of the streaming world," honoring his pioneering achievements in the early days of game broadcasting.

Kim particularly recalled Daed Library's appearance on MBC's '100 Minute Debate' in 2014. He recounted how Daed Library confidently argued, "Gaming is not a disease," against the notion that it should be classified as such, leaving a profound impression on many.

Addressing past allegations of 'employee mistreatment,' Kim asserted that the accusations were unfounded. He revealed that Daed Library bore the brunt of the criticism himself to protect others from hurt, despite the unfairness of the situation. "He was someone who walked a much more arduous path than I knew, and at the same time, someone who was kinder and more considerate than anyone else," Kim reminisced, expressing his admiration and longing for the late creator.

Daed Library was found deceased at his home on the morning of June 6th, at the age of 46. While the possibility of death due to illness was raised, his ex-wife Yum Yum stated on June 9th that the cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage.

The late Daed Library, born Na Dong-hyun in 1978, was a beloved figure in the early days of game broadcasting.

His sudden passing has led to an outpouring of grief from fellow creators and fans alike.

He was widely recognized for his significant contributions to establishing the game streaming landscape.
