Fighter Choo Sung-hoon, internet personality Kwak Joon-bin, and comedian Lee Eun-ji are facing a tough reality as they struggle to earn enough for meals during their trip to Egypt.

In the upcoming 8th episode of the joint EBS-ENA production 'Choo Sung-hoon Must Earn His Meal,' the trio, affectionately known as 'Meal Costz,' find themselves in an unprecedented situation. Due to the low wages relative to the cost of living in Egypt, a country with a large young population and abundant labor, they are forced to ask the production team for an advance of 20,000 KRW.

The 'Meal Costz' members worked at a landfill in the Mokattam district, but even after their labor, they worried about affording their next meal. They also realized the need for protein, having subsisted mainly on carbohydrates. To satisfy their craving for Choo Sung-hoon's steak, the production team offered the loan, but the negotiation over the steep 5,000 KRW interest became a point of contention.

Viewers are anticipating the episode to see how 'Meal Costz' will bargain to reduce the interest and what challenges they face working at the massive landfill, which processes a third of Cairo's waste. Additionally, Choo Sung-hoon will take on the role of a 'pigeon butler,' tending to 330 pigeons. The episode will also feature a generous offer of traditional Egyptian cuisine from the landfill's owner, which Lee Eun-ji declared the 'best meal in Egypt.'

Choo Sung-hoon, a prominent mixed martial artist of Korean descent, is widely recognized for his powerful fighting style and charismatic personality. Beyond his athletic career, he has gained significant popularity as a television personality, particularly through family-oriented variety shows. His daughter, Choo Sarang, has also become a beloved public figure due to her appearances alongside him.
