Yang Chi-seung Reveals Demolition Site of His Gym, Crying Over 25 Years of Work

Fitness trainer Yang Chi-seung has revealed the demolition site of his gym, expressing his sadness over the closure.

A video titled "Thank You For Everything" was uploaded on his channel 'Yang Chi-seung's Maktube' on the 13th. In the video, Yang Chi-seung was seen selling his car. He explained with a heavy heart, "I'm selling the car because I'm in a situation where I have no choice but to sell it."

Yang Chi-seung stated that he decided to sell the vehicle to secure funds for refunding membership fees to his clients as the gym's closure became imminent. He elaborated, "Members often pay in advance when registering, and I bought that car with that money, so it wasn't really mine. It belonged to the members. It's right to sell it and return the membership fees to the members. We must ensure that members suffer no harm, so we have to try our best to minimize any damage. That's the least I can do."

When asked if the closure was confirmed, he replied, "The exact date hasn't been set, but personally, I don't think there's much time left. I sold it in advance." Despite the difficult situation, he tried to hold back tears, saying, "It's just that my eyes are a little teary. I have to live diligently. Fighting."

As the eviction date approached, Yang Chi-seung and his staff were busy processing refunds for the members. After his final personal training session, Yang Chi-seung bid farewell to his clients, saying, "I never thought this day would come after 25 years of doing this. I intended to run this gym until I died of old age, but unintentionally, I have to close it down." He added, "It feels like graduating from elementary, middle, and high school together, a really long time. Just as you worked hard here, I hope you work hard in other places and never give up on exercise. Thank you so much for receiving classes until the very end." He concluded, "On July 25, 2025, our gym, Body Space, will close. Thank you all very much."

Later, Yang Chi-seung visited the gym as demolition began. He watched the process with a complex expression as the space was reduced to an empty shell, adding, "Thank you for everything."
