Singer Mina is capturing attention by revealing her secrets to maintaining her ageless beauty and health in her 50s.
Recently, a video titled "First Reveal! A Typical(?) Day of 50s Star Mina, the Youngest-Looking in Korea (Diet & Exercise & InBody Scan)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Feel Mi Couple'.
Mina kicked off her day by weighing herself right after waking up, showing a weight of 52.6kg, signaling the start of her rigorous self-management.
She explained her breakfast, which included apples, carrots, sweet potatoes, cabbage, eggs, and bananas, noting, "We eat a lot, but half is cooked and half is raw." When asked why she wears makeup to the gym, she humorously replied, "Isn't it a nuisance to go out without makeup when you're older?" adding, "I've always been the type to pay attention to my appearance, even since I was young."
Mina admitted she doesn't particularly enjoy exercise but does it "to eat a lot of delicious food." She revealed that she has increased her workout frequency from three times a week to four to five times a week.
At the practice room, she combined core exercises with singing practice, stating, "It helps with pronunciation and vocalization, and it's good for broadcasters."
She also visited a hospital with her husband, Ryu Philip, for immune management through IV drips. A body composition test showed a surprising body fat percentage of 10%, despite her diet. However, Mina expressed a desire to "be even healthier," contemplating her diet.
Her day concluded with meridian massages, walking her dog, a sandwich for dinner, and a final workout at the gym, showcasing a packed schedule.
Mina's dedication, driven by her observation of others' commitment, promises continued displays of her healthy lifestyle.
Born in 1971, Mina is 53 years old this year but boasts a youthful appearance comparable to someone in their 20s thanks to consistent exercise and strict dietary management. She married Ryu Philip, a member of the fusion gugak group 'Soul String' and her contemporary, in 2018. She actively communicates with fans through their YouTube channel, 'Feel Mi Couple'.
