MBC Every1's popular travel reality show, 'The Great Escape,' is set to return with a new season titled 'The Great Escape 2.5-Daedanan Guide.' This unique program features foreign residents in Korea who act as guides, revealing local secrets and hidden gems to travelers visiting their home countries. The show has garnered significant love from viewers since its pilot in 2023, its regular broadcast in 2024, and the second season in 2025, particularly the latter which received praise for maximizing reality-show fun by having the guides travel independently.

A key highlight of 'Daedanan Guide' is that Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel, who were travel mates in 'The Great Escape 2,' will now step up as guides themselves. The subtitle 'Daedanan Guide' stems from this very concept. Attention is focused on how Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel, who honed their travel skills through chaotic, guide-less journeys in Season 2, will perform as guides and the laughter they will bring. Notably, Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min previously worked together in a drama, sparking dating rumors due to their exceptional chemistry, making their reunion in this show a point of interest.
