R&B Singer D4vd Under Investigation After Teen Girl's Body Found in His Vehicle

A shocking development has emerged in the music world as R&B singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, finds himself under investigation. A body discovered in a vehicle owned by the 20-year-old artist has been identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing on April 5, 2024.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department confirmed the grim discovery, stating that Rivas's remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to D4vd. The body was first located on April 8th at a towing company in Hollywood after authorities responded to a report of a foul odor.

Investigators are treating the case as a homicide. The vehicle itself was reportedly abandoned in the Hollywood Hills five days prior to its discovery. The cause of death has not yet been released by the coroner's office.

Adding to the disturbing details, both Rivas and D4vd were found to have matching 'Shhh...' tattoos on their fingers. Rivas's mother confirmed to TMZ that the tattoo matched her daughter's, and D4vd has been seen with the same distinctive ink on stage.

Further fueling speculation, Rivas had reportedly told her mother about a boyfriend named David before her disappearance. D4vd also released a song titled 'Romantic Homicide' on what would have been Rivas's birthday, September 7th, three years ago. The music video for the song also featured an actress who bore a resemblance to the victim, raising questions about a potential romantic relationship.

D4vd is cooperating with law enforcement. However, any personal connection between the artist and the victim remains unconfirmed at this time. He has canceled some upcoming performances following the incident.
