Kim Sook Denies Marriage Rumors with Gu Bon-seung Set for October 7th

Comedienne Kim Sook has officially addressed the persistent rumors of her impending marriage to actor Gu Bon-seung on October 7th.

During a recent broadcast of KBS2's 'Problem Child in House Season 2,' forensic scientist Professor Yoo Sung-ho made a guest appearance. Professor Yoo revealed that he was a fan of Kim Sook and Song Eun-yi's podcast, 'Secret Guarantee,' capturing attention.

While inquiring about Kim Sook's age, Professor Yoo brought up the marriage news with Gu Bon-seung. When fellow cast member Joo Woo-jae added, "Only a month left now," Kim Sook firmly dismissed the claims, stating, "It's fake news." She referred to Gu Bon-seung as "a person I respect," effectively shutting down the speculation.

The marriage rumors first surfaced after Kim Sook and Gu Bon-seung participated in the dating reality show 'Seeking Old Love' and became a final couple, garnering much support. Later, when Gu Bon-seung appeared as a special MC on KBS2's 'The Boss in the Mirror,' host Park Myung-soo jokingly suggested, "Get married on October 7th," to which Kim Sook replied, "I'll follow oppa's opinion," fueling the marriage rumors.

Kim Sook herself addressed the 'October 7th marriage rumor' on her YouTube channel, 'Kim Sook TV,' after filming a fishing content with Gu Bon-seung in Jeju Island. She recounted her manager asking if she needed to clear her schedule on October 7th for "her wedding," only for her to dismiss it as fake news. However, she still playfully suggested to Gu Bon-seung, "Let's upload on October 7th. On your channel," adding to the anticipation.
