Actress Song E-dam is currently enjoying a breakout moment in tvN's weekend drama, 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' a fantasy romantic comedy blending time-slip intrigue with palace kitchen rivalries.

Joining the series in episode 7, Song takes on the pivotal role of an interpreter from Ming China, serving as a crucial bridge for communication between Joseon royal chefs and their Ming counterparts. In episode 8, she significantly heightened the drama by fluently translating a heated exchange between head palace chef Yeon Ji-young (played by Lim Yoona) and Ming's Tang Baek-ryong (played by Jo Jae-yoon) regarding the use of chili powder – a scene lauded for its intensity.
