Actor Ryu Jin Reveals Father-In-Law's 'Landlord' Status: From 1000-Pyeong Farm to '2 Billion Won' Silla-Era Stone Tools

Actor Ryu Jin has garnered attention by revealing his father-in-law's impressive assets.

On the 3rd, a video titled "Ryu Jin's Father-In-Law's Hidden 1000-Pyeong Field Revealed for the First Time (Landlord, Deer Farm, Returning to Farming)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'The Coolest Ryu Jin'.

In the video, Ryu Jin visited a 1000-pyeong (approximately 3300 sqm) field in Jeokseong-myeon, Paju City. He explained, "My father-in-law has land in Hwacheon and also acquired this land. Although it might not seem like it because it's adjacent to a mountain, it's about 1000 pyeong." He shared that his father-in-law previously ran a deer farm with about 50 deer and had bought this land to relocate them. However, due to unforeseen issues, the deer were moved elsewhere, leaving the land vacant.

Ryu Jin mentioned he finds joy in planting and harvesting crops on the empty land, even participating in digging sweet potatoes for a healing experience. After the work, he was seen resting and enjoying a meal with his father-in-law and mother-in-law.

Notably, when asked about the land's value, Ryu Jin's father-in-law stated, "Near the entrance, it's 700,000 won and 500,000 won per pyeong, but here it's about 300,000 won." The production crew was astonished, calculating that 1000 pyeong at 300,000 won per pyeong amounted to 300 million won (approximately $220,000 USD). Ryu Jin playfully suggested, "Shall we build a campsite here?"

Furthermore, the father-in-law revealed he owns another 1000-pyeong plot of land in the countryside where Silla-era stone tools were discovered. This announcement further surprised everyone. When informed that the appraisal value was 2 billion won (approximately $1.5 million USD), Ryu Jin asked, "Can't we appear on 'Genuine Articles Masterpiece' (a TV show)?"
