The animated film ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—The Hashira Training Arc’ continues its reign at the top of the weekend box office, securing the number one spot for the third week in a row.

According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Network of Admissions, the movie drew 498,839 viewers over the weekend (May 5th-7th), bringing its total cumulative audience to 3,957,581.

This impressive performance solidifies ‘Demon Slayer’s’ position as a box office hit, maintaining its dominance for three consecutive weekends. The horror film ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites,’ which opened this past weekend, landed in second place with 164,668 admissions, reaching a cumulative total of 233,111. ‘The Killer’s Report’ followed in third with 149,948 viewers, accumulating 152,738. ‘F1: The Movie’ and ‘Zombie Daughter’ rounded out the top five.

Meanwhile, as of 9 AM on May 8th, the real-time reservation rate shows Park Chan-wook's new film ‘It Can’t Be Helped’ leading with 23.1%, signaling the potential rise of a new box office contender.
