Rookie boy group CORTIS has emerged as a new hit from Big Hit Music, achieving impressive results immediately upon the release of their debut album.

The debut album, 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' released by CORTIS (comprising members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Geonho) on the 8th, ranked second on the daily album chart with 247,295 copies sold on its release day, according to Hanteo Chart. This marks the highest first-day sales for a debut album among rookies this year, showcasing their potential to break into the upper echelons of the charts despite the comeback of major artists.

CORTIS's popularity is also evident on international charts. As of 10 AM on the 9th, their new album had charted on iTunes 'Top Albums' in 18 countries/regions, including Japan and the United States. Notably, reaching 37th place in the US, the center of the global music market, is a significant achievement. Furthermore, the album secured a spot in the top 10 in nine countries/regions, including Singapore (1st place), Thailand, and Taiwan, signaling a strong global launch.

The intro track 'GO!' from their debut album is also gaining significant traction. It reached 71st place on the Bugs real-time Top 100 chart on the 8th, an unusual feat for a B-side track by a rookie group to enter domestic music charts.
