The G-PARK Foundation, with K-pop superstar G-Dragon serving as honorary chairman, has touched hearts with a special initiative during its recent U.S. World Tour concerts.

The foundation reached out to fire departments in New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, inviting firefighters and their families, who stand on the front lines protecting lives and safety, to attend the performances. A special acknowledgment was given to New York firefighters and their families during the New York concert, recognizing their arduous work amidst increasing national disasters like wildfires and floods exacerbated by climate change, and the risk of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) they face.

This outreach is part of the foundation's upcoming 'Public Disaster PTSD Art Healing Project,' aimed at realizing its core value of supporting the psychological recovery of uniformed personnel and their families through art. The initiative extended invitations not only to firefighters but also to civilian volunteers who protect citizens during crises and disasters. In collaboration with Good Neighbors USA, the foundation also invited dedicated individuals from Korean-American non-profit organizations, social workers, and educators—referred to as 'hidden heroes'—who contribute to the community in areas like disaster safety and public health.

Furthermore, women residing in shelters due to domestic violence trauma, who found external activities challenging, were also invited. They were able to enjoy cultural activities after a long time, finding comfort and hope. Good Neighbors USA shared on social media that experiencing the concert with their staff was a life-changing event, defining themselves as 'Übermensch'—embracing who they are and who they are becoming—and expressed gratitude to G-Dragon and the foundation for the opportunity to heal and discover a better self.

The 'Übermensch' theme, chosen by G-Dragon for his tour, represents the human spirit striving to overcome limitations and evolve into a better being. The foundation elaborated that those who dedicate themselves to others amidst daily hardships, realizing life's profound values, are the 'Übermensch' of modern society. They emphasized the importance of the foundation's support and encouragement to ensure these individuals do not lose courage and continue their efforts.

This invitation event follows similar activities during the foundation's Asian tour, where Paralympic athletes from Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong were invited to performances. This gesture was a response to a letter from Japanese Paralympic athlete Kōta Kubota, who shared how G-Dragon's music significantly aided his performance at the Paralympics.

The G-PARK Foundation affirmed its commitment to continue activities that align with its values of justice and peace, assisting those in need across various societal sectors.

G-Dragon took on the role of honorary chairman of The G-PARK Foundation in October 2023, marking his official commitment to social contribution activities.

Operating under the name 'The G-PARK,' he aims to channel his influence as a global artist into positive societal impact.

This foundation's work highlights G-Dragon's dedication to realizing the value of social healing and support through art, extending beyond his musical endeavors.
