
Han Ga-in Expresses Regret Over Career Hiatus After Marriage While Praising Shin Hyun-been's Dedication
Actress Han Ga-in recently revealed her candid feelings about her career during a meeting with her close friend, actress Shin Hyun-been. In a YouTube video released on the 11th, Han Ga-in invited Shin Hyun-been, whom she befriended eight years ago on the set of the drama 'Mistyres'.
During the video, Han Ga-in shared her complex emotions while observing Shin Hyun-been, who appears to be dedicated to her career path as a 'career woman' and has maintained a consistent acting career. Han Ga-in noted, "I got married early and had children, which made it difficult to fully pursue my acting career. Seeing Hyun-been continuously working without marriage makes me feel envious."
She further elaborated, "I wonder what it would have been like if I hadn't married and had steadily worked as an actress. There's a sense of regret," she confessed. Han Ga-in also praised Shin Hyun-been's acting, stating, "Your acting seems to be in the realm of challenge," making her admiration feel all the more genuine.
Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005 and they have one son and one daughter.
She debuted as a commercial model in 2002 and began her acting career in earnest with the 2003 drama 'Yellow Handkerchief'.
She recently made a special appearance in the Netflix series 'Doona!', raising expectations for her return to acting.
