The third episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Devil's Game' (Mantis: The Killer's Outing) sent shockwaves through viewers as the truth behind the first murder by serial killer 'Mantis,' Jung Yi-shin (played by Go Hyun-jung), was unveiled.

Detective Cha Su-yeol (Jang Dong-yoon), who is investigating copycat killings, confronts memories of his childhood and is led to the scene of his mother's first murder, all according to the perpetrator's plan. It was revealed that Jung Yi-shin's first victim was her abusive husband, who had subjected her and their son to brutal violence.

Ahead of the fourth episode, preview stills show Jung Yi-shin before her arrest, taking a bite out of an apple while gazing intently at Detective Choi Jung-ho (Jo Sung-ha). This moment is expected to shed light on why she earned the moniker 'Mantis' and why she became an object of admiration for some. The production team praised Go Hyun-jung's captivating screen presence and Jo Sung-ha's solid acting for enhancing the drama's immersion.

Go Hyun-jung made her debut in 1989, winning the 'Miss Korea' runner-up title.
