Singer Kim Jong-kook shared a humorous anecdote about marital disputes stemming from his dedication to exercise shortly after his wedding, drawing laughter from the audience.

During the broadcast of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' on the 14th, Kim Jong-kook candidly discussed his newlywed life.

Fellow guest Kim Dong-hyun, also passionate about fitness, commented, "I also can't compromise when it comes to exercise. I bet you, hyung, also face trouble because of workouts," to which Kim Jong-kook responded.

"Exercise is the only thing I truly fight fiercely about," Kim Jong-kook confessed. "The issue was that I'd go work out instead of going on dates, which reduced our time together." He humorously added, "This is the only thing I fight passionately about," causing explosive laughter.

When Kim Dong-hyun suggested "a 6-month exercise ban for your wife" as a wedding gift, Kim Jong-kook reacted defensively, "Not even a month. Exercise is very sensitive for me." The compromise eventually settled on a "1-day exercise ban," eliciting further amusement.

Additionally, rumors surrounding his wife were addressed. When Kim Hee-chul inquired, "Is it true she's a CEO from LA and the daughter of an English teacher?" Kim Jong-kook clarified, "Everything except her gender is false. Only the fact that we are married is true," firmly debunking the gossip.

Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as part of the duo 'Turbo,' quickly making a name for himself in the music industry. He later embarked on a successful solo career, releasing hit songs such as 'A Man' and 'One Step Closer.' Beyond his vocal talents, he is widely recognized for his impressive physique and athletic abilities, earning him the nickname 'The Strongman.'
