Trot sensation Song Ga-in showcased her multifaceted charm during a recent radio appearance.

On the KBS COOL FM show 'Lee Eun-ji's Gayo Plaza' aired on the 15th, Song Ga-in captivated listeners with behind-the-scenes stories of her new song 'Sarangui Mambo' and a live performance.

From the start of the broadcast, Song Ga-in livened up the studio with her witty remarks. Discussing her new track 'Sarangui Mambo,' she revealed her special connection with composer Seol Woon-do, expressing confidence in the song. She shared, 'The senior artist monitored day and night and told me, 'This song is going to be a huge hit',' expressing gratitude for the 'Mambo craze.'

Furthermore, when asked about an artist she wishes to collaborate with, she named singer Yoon Min-soo. Recalling their explosive synergy from a past broadcast, she heightened anticipation for a potential duet. She also revealed her willingness to explore various genres, including ballad remakes, demonstrating her versatility as an 'all-rounder.' Responding humorously to a question about acting, she quipped, 'My acting is terrible; I can't even memorize lines.'

Expressing surprise at receiving a Silver Play Button in just 3-4 months, she shared how collaborations with personalities like makeup artist Lee Sa-bae and mukbang streamer Tzuyang felt like a dream come true. Recently, her live performance of 'Saekdongjeogori' from her 4th full album and a powerful rendition of her favorite song 'Samiingok' earned her deep emotion and fervent responses.

Meanwhile, Song Ga-in has released her first dance track, 'Sarangui Mambo,' and is actively engaging with fans through diverse content.

Song Ga-in debuted in 2012 with her first full album 'Baramgyeol' but did not gain significant recognition. She rose to nationwide fame after winning the TV Chosun survival program 'Miss Trot' in 2019. A skilled singer with a background in traditional Korean music (Gukak), she is widely loved for her unique musical style that blends traditional trot with Gukak vocal techniques.
