Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon offered candid advice to a male guest who wishes to marry his girlfriend, who is 17 years his junior.

On the KBS Joy show 'Ask Anything' (Ask Anything) aired on the 15th, an international couple appeared, overcoming a 17-year age gap.

Seo Jang-hoon pointed out that the age difference could be a significant issue and asked about the female partner's parents' reactions. The female guest replied that while her mother approved, her father did not.

When asked about marriage plans, the male guest expressed his desire to marry, but the female guest stated she wished to marry in four years, when she turns 30.

Seo Jang-hoon then sternly advised, "The problem is this. The man is older and in a hurry. There's no guarantee she'll want to marry when she's 30. The man has to decide for himself. You need to decide whether to invest your time or not." He further added, "If you can accept her leaving even then without regret, continue dating. If not, you should stop now." Lee Soo-geun chimed in, wishing them happiness and urging them not to put pressure on each other.

Seo Jang-hoon began his career as a celebrated professional basketball player in the 1990s. After retiring from sports, he transitioned into television, becoming a staple on numerous variety shows. His role on 'Ask Anything' is particularly noted for his straightforward and pragmatic advice, resonating deeply with viewers.
