Actress Ra Mi-ran has revealed her significantly changed appearance after successfully losing 13kg over the course of a year.

Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Zzanhan Hyung Shin Dong Yeop,’ Ra Mi-ran discussed her recent weight transformation. When host Shin Dong-yeop asked if she used ‘Wegovy,’ Ra Mi-ran emphasized, “No, it’s not Wegovy. I didn’t rush, and I lost 13kg purely through diet over about a year.”

Shin Dong-yeop praised her radiant look, noting, “People who lose weight quickly often show it, but you look healthy and glowing.” Ra Mi-ran humorously added, “There’s a side effect: I’ve become overconfident and developed a tendency to want to show off. I feel like wearing crop tops even at 51,” drawing laughter.

Fellow guest Lee Sun-bin playfully exposed Ra Mi-ran by saying, “I didn’t support Ra Mi-ran’s diet. I kept giving her food.” Lee Sun-bin later clarified, “I brought snacks just in case her blood sugar dropped during filming,” adding to the amusement.

Recently, several stars who have achieved significant weight loss have faced speculation about using medications like Wegovy. AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun also directly clarified, “I did not use Wegovy. It was the result of exercise and dietary control.”

Amidst ongoing discussion and curiosity surrounding the use of weight-loss treatments, the cases of stars like Ra Mi-ran, who have achieved transformation through consistent self-management, are drawing attention.
