Actress Ra Mi-ran offered a humorous update on her well-being at the press conference for the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Let Me Go to the Moon' (tentative title), lightheartedly mentioning her previous struggles with 'exhibitionism'.

The event, held on the 16th at MBC's Sangam headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, was attended by cast members Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo A-ram, Kim Young-dae, and director Oh Da-young. Premiering on the 19th, 'Let Me Go to the Moon' is a hyper-realistic survival drama about three women from humble backgrounds who dive into cryptocurrency investment to navigate a world where monthly salaries are insufficient for survival.

Ra Mi-ran, who plays Kang Eun-sang, a non-commissioned employee in Maron Confectionery's management support team, explained her reason for joining the project. "I missed the synergy of these three women bustling together," she said. "Especially when Lee Sun-bin and Jo A-ram agreed to join, I thought our chemistry would be great. I missed that kind of set."

She further elaborated, "I was truly satisfied while filming and felt there was no reason not to do it with this cast. I thought, 'I should ride Lee Sun-bin's current flow,' and it turned out to be a very good decision." When asked about potential revealing scenes, Ra Mi-ran, who had previously garnered attention for confessing to developing 'exhibitionism' after a 13kg weight loss, playfully responded, "Of course, there are revealing scenes, and surprisingly, a scene where I wear a swimsuit. I covered myself because it was unsightly, but it was filmed during my diet, before the 'exhibitionism' manifested. I was embarrassed while shooting."

Adding to the amusement, she concluded, "I'm currently taking medication to suppress it. Because it was said to be too revealing."

Ra Mi-ran debuted in 2005 with the film 'The President's Barber' and has left a strong impression on audiences by portraying diverse and charismatic characters. Her role as Jang Man-ok in the drama 'Reply 1988' was particularly beloved. Beyond her acting prowess, she is widely adored for her witty remarks on variety shows, showcasing her versatile appeal.
