The weekend mini-series 'Confidants KR' is set to change its broadcast schedule.

TV Chosun announced via its official channels, "The broadcast time for the weekend mini-series 'Confidants KR' has been changed. It will now air every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 PM. Please refer to this for viewing."

Consequently, 'Confidants KR', which previously aired at 9:10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, will move to the 10:30 PM time slot starting from the 20th.

This sudden time slot adjustment is speculated to be a strategic move to counter the strong performance of the tvN weekend drama 'King's Chef', a competitor in the same time period. 'King's Chef' has shown consistent growth, with its viewership ratings climbing from 4.9% in its first episode to 15.4% in the recently aired eighth episode. Its lead actress, Im Yoon-ah, has also topped the buzzworthy rankings for four consecutive weeks.

In contrast, 'Confidants KR' started with a viewership rating of 1.1% and has recently seen its ratings dip into the 0% range by the fourth episode. The change in broadcast time is perceived as an attempt to overcome these challenges and boost viewership.

'Confidants KR' follows three con artists with distinct charms as they skillfully swindle individuals driven by greed and desire through extraordinary schemes. The drama stars Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk. Attention is now on whether the new time slot will help the series capture the audience's attention.

The drama 'Confidants KR' is a Korean remake based on a popular Japanese drama and a Hong Kong film of the same name. Park Min-young has been highly praised for her performance, embodying her character with exceptional acting skills. Despite the low ratings, the actors' performances continue to receive consistent recognition.
