Singer Lim Young-woong has emerged as an 'Entertainment King,' showcasing an overwhelming presence on variety shows.

According to the Korea Communications Standards Commission's broadcast content value information analysis system, RACOI, Lim Young-woong ranked first overall among variety show performers for the second week of September with his appearance on SBS's 'Island Bachelor Hero.' This achievement is particularly noteworthy as he surpassed seasoned entertainers like Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Jong-kook.

'Island Bachelor Hero,' which depicts Lim Young-woong and his close friends' spontaneous island life, has been highly loved by viewers since its premiere. The show entered Netflix's Top 5 Korean series within its first week and maintained its position for two consecutive weeks. It also secured the number one spot for Tuesday variety shows for three consecutive weeks, boosting its viewership ratings, especially among the 2049 demographic.

Lim Young-woong is also actively engaged in his music career. His second full-length album, 'IM HERO 2,' released on August 29th, topped various music charts. The music video for the title track, 'Like a Moment, Forever,' soared to the top of YouTube's trending videos.

Having conquered not only music but also the entertainment sphere, Lim Young-woong is set to connect with fans through his national tour concert, 'IM HERO,' starting in October.
