Kim Yoo-jung and Director Lee Eung-bok Unveil 'Dear X' at BIFF, Promising a Melodrama of Destruction

The upcoming TVING original series 'Dear X' is generating buzz with the collaboration between acclaimed director Lee Eung-bok and actress Kim Yoo-jung. At an outdoor stage greeting held on the 19th at the Busan Cinema Center, the cast and crew, including Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Kim Yi-kyung, along with producer Kim Ryun-hee CP, shared insights into the highly anticipated drama.

'Dear X' tells the story of Baek Ah-jin (Kim Yoo-jung), a top actress who wears a mask to escape hell and ascend to the highest echelons, and the tragic love story with Yoon Jun-seo (Kim Young-dae), who chooses hell for her. Based on a popular webtoon, the series delves into the destructive romance and the cruel truth hidden behind a beautiful facade.

Officially invited to the 'On Screen' section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), 'Dear X' proved its popularity by selling out all screening tickets upon their release. The festival will host the world premiere of the first two episodes.

Actress Kim Yoo-jung expressed her excitement, stating, "It's wonderful that so many people found it enjoyable. Please look forward to its release on November 6th." Co-star Kim Young-dae added, "Objectively, I believe it's a very fun series," showing confidence in the project.
