Actor Park Ji-hwan is capturing audiences with his multifaceted performances. He made a strong impact from his first appearance in JTBC's weekend drama '100 Years of Memory' as Noh Sang-sik, the highest authority at Cheong-a Transport and a cold-blooded character.

Park Ji-hwan's portrayal of Noh Sang-sik, who shows stinginess when it comes to money, particularly evoked viewers' anger with his cold refusal of Go Young-rye's (Kim Da-mi) request for an advance salary due to her mother's accident. By meticulously depicting the character who prioritizes reason and principle with his gaze and expressions, he completed an indispensable villain in '100 Years of Memory'.

In contrast, Park Ji-hwan will transform into Park Moo-deok, a gangster controlling Mapo Naru, in Disney+'s original historical drama 'The Turbulent Flow'. He is expected to showcase another acting spectrum as a character who, despite once dominating Mapo Naru, now suffers hardships due to his lower rank. In the released videos, Park Moo-deok, while seemingly being outmatched by Jang Si-yul (Rowoon), emanates fiery charisma and also displays comical moments of quick wit for survival.

'The Turbulent Flow' director Choo Chang-min praised Park Ji-hwan, stating, "He is an actor with the power to magically bring characters who only existed in writing to life." Thus, Park Ji-hwan has completed his preparations to dominate the small screen this fall by showcasing distinct charms in two completely different works. '100 Years of Memory' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:40 PM on JTBC, and 'The Turbulent Flow' will be released on Disney+ on the 26th.

Park Ji-hwan has built a solid acting career through numerous films and dramas. He has established himself as a 'trustworthy actor' among the public for his realistic character portrayals. Recently, he proved his wide acting range with impressive performances in 'Concrete Utopia' and the 'The Roundup' series.
