Rock band Daybreak has emerged victorious in the latest episode of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' dedicated to the iconic artist Shin Seung-hun.

During the broadcast on the 20th, Daybreak captivated the audience with their rendition of Shin Seung-hun's smash hit 'Like the First Feeling.' Their performance masterfully blended the song's inherent melody and poignant lyrics with sweet, refreshing vocals.

The band then transitioned into a dynamic display of powerful instrumental performances, perfectly syncing with the song's energetic progression. Their commanding stage presence instantly transformed the studio into a concert venue, igniting fervent audience reactions and standing ovations.

Celebrating their 18th anniversary this year, Daybreak reaffirmed their reputation as the 'Festival Emperors' by delivering a highly polished performance that showcased their exceptional vocal and instrumental talents within a well-structured arrangement.

Buoyed by the overwhelming audience response, Daybreak secured the first part's victory. Even original artist Shin Seung-hun praised their performance, noting, "It felt like you played with the audience's hearts, just like in the song 'Held and Released.' The arrangement was also superb."

Daybreak continues to dominate festival stages nationwide and is set to perform at the 'Festival shiwol Busan Jazz Festa 2025' in Busan on the 21st.

Daybreak, formed in 2007, is a five-member South Korean rock band known for their unique musical style and energetic live performances. They have built a substantial fanbase through their distinctive sound and engaging stage presence. The band is particularly renowned for their frequent headlining appearances at major summer music festivals across the country, earning them the title 'Festival Emperors.'
