Actress Eun-ae Makes Powerful Debut in Thriller 'Mantis: Killer's Outing'

Actress Eun-ae has left a strong impression with her first appearance in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Mantis: Killer's Outing'.

In the 6th episode aired on the 20th, Eun-ae played the role of Park Sun-young, the mother of Kang Yeon-joong. She realistically portrayed a character residing in a nursing hospital, her memory and mind fractured by alcoholic dementia and various illnesses, thereby heightening the drama's tension.

During the broadcast, the investigation team identified Kang Yeon-joong as the perpetrator of a serial murder case and visited the nursing hospital where his mother resided. When Cha Soo-yeol (played by Jang Dong-yoon) inquired about his son's whereabouts, Kang Yeon-joong's mother, with a vacant expression, uttered ominous words: 'My son. He has to run. His father is coming to catch him.' When asked why Yeon-joong needed to run, she responded with shock, 'He killed Dallae. The dog... the neighbor's dog. Woof woof.' Notably, to the question of whether she had seen Yeon-joong recently, she replied, 'Just a moment ago. She put it on again. She put on makeup again to become a girl. Run,' escalating the drama's suspense to its peak.

Eun-ae's portrayal of Kang Yeon-joong's mother, repeating the line 'Yeon-joong, run' unconsciously, fully conveyed the past trauma and fear, leaving viewers with a chilling sense of immersion.
