Former goalkeeper Kim Young-kwang garnered significant attention by appearing on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', where he discussed his illustrious transfer fee history and introduced his wife, a dermatologist.

During the broadcast on the 22nd, Kim Young-kwang reminisced about his past when he recorded an astonishing transfer fee of 2.2 billion won, etching his name in Korean football history. However, he was humorously introduced as 'the eternal runner-up, the Hong Jin-ho of goalkeepers,' leading him to playfully protest, 'I was always number one until I met Lee Woon-jae hyung.'

Another highlight of the episode was the reveal of Kim Young-kwang's wife, Kim Eun-ji. He introduced her as 'a ray of light in my life,' and the cast members expressed surprise, noting it was their first time seeing a doctor's spouse. Kim Eun-ji operates a dermatology clinic in the heart of Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, known to be frequented by celebrities such as actor Seo Kang-joon, singer Park Hyo-shin, and musical actress Jeong Sun-a. It was also revealed that her close friend, actress Lim Soo-hyang, is a regular client.

Kim Young-kwang openly expressed his affection for his wife, describing her resemblance to singer Lee Ji-hye and also mentioning vibes of Sandara Park and Ye-won from Jewelry. He praised her as his 'perfect ideal type, possessing both intelligence and beauty.' The couple, who have been together for 19 years, showcased their stable married life through the program.

However, a twist was revealed regarding their living situation. While his wife enjoyed a cozy bedroom, Kim Young-kwang was shown sleeping in a small, approximately 2-pyeong (about 6.6 square meters) closet room. Despite suspicions of a staged setup, he explained, 'It's to allow my wife to sleep comfortably,' adding, 'I sleep in the closet room about three times a week.' Observing this, host Seo Jang-hoon empathized, saying, 'The medical profession is also demanding. It's a time to cherish your wife even more,' creating a warm atmosphere.

Kim Young-kwang's transfer fee of 2.2 billion won in 2008 to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors was a record for a Korean goalkeeper at the time. After retiring from professional football, he has been active in various fields, including coaching and television appearances. His wife, Kim Eun-ji, is reportedly two years younger than him.
