BTS member Jungkook's debut solo album, 'GOLDEN,' continues its remarkable global chart domination, setting new benchmarks for K-pop solo artists. Released in November 2023, 'GOLDEN' recently celebrated an astounding 500 consecutive days on Apple Music's European Album Chart, marking the longest run for any K-pop solo album. This achievement comes just four months after it surpassed the 400-day mark, underscoring its enduring popularity.

The album's influence extends worldwide, with 'GOLDEN' also charting for an impressive 600 consecutive days on both the Apple Music Worldwide Album Chart and the US Apple Music Pop Album Chart—a first and longest for a K-pop solo artist. Furthermore, it demonstrated strong staying power on iTunes, with 400 days on the Worldwide Album Chart and 200 days on the European Album Chart, showcasing unwavering global fan support.

On Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, 'GOLDEN' has achieved even more groundbreaking milestones. It holds the record as the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist on the 'Weekly Top Album Global' chart, appearing for an astonishing 95 consecutive weeks. Most recently, it became the first album by an Asian solo artist to accumulate over 6 billion streams.

Jungkook's album sales are equally impressive. 'GOLDEN' has recorded 9.2 million Album Equivalent Sales (EAS), making it the best-selling album by a K-pop solo artist of all time. It achieved "double million-seller" status on its release day and surpassed 2.5 million first-week sales (Hanteo), becoming the first solo album in 13 years to reach this milestone since Hanteo's chart recalculation.

The album's global impact is further solidified by its presence on major international charts. 'GOLDEN' spent 25 weeks on the Billboard 200, a first for an Asian solo artist, and remained on the UK Official Albums Chart Top 100 for eight weeks, also a K-pop solo artist first. Upon its release, the album topped iTunes Album Charts in 106 countries, confirming its immense global appeal.

Jungkook debuted as the youngest member of BTS in 2013, a group that has since achieved global superstardom. Known for his powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, he is often referred to as the "Golden Maknae." His solo singles like 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' have also found significant success on international charts, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
