BTS Jungkook Receives Public Invitation from Chinese Star Zhang Xincheng
Global music sensation BTS member Jungkook has become the talk of the town after receiving a public invitation from top Chinese actor and singer Zhang Xincheng.
According to Chinese media reports, Zhang Xincheng, during a recent interview for his new album ‘Maladjustment’, named Jungkook as a dream guest for his concert. He also mentioned other renowned artists like Mandopop legend Jay Chou, and international superstars Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga, highlighting his admiration.
Previously, Zhang Xincheng had shown his fan spirit by recreating Jungkook's fashion from BTS's hit digital single ‘Dynamite’ music video in 2020. Jungkook himself has been making waves, recently winning the ‘Best Selling (English) Male Single’ award at the ‘2024 China Year End Awards’ for his self-produced track ‘Never Let Go’. This song dominated China's largest music platform QQ Music, topping daily and weekly charts upon release and earning a 'Gold' certification. His debut solo album ‘Golden’ also achieved significant success on QQ Music, surpassing 3 million yuan in sales, the only K-pop male solo artist to do so in 2023, and receiving a ‘Triple Platinum’ certification.
Jungkook, often dubbed BTS's 'Golden Maknae', is a main vocalist and sub-rapper for the group. His solo tracks 'Seven' and '3D' achieved massive global chart success, solidifying his status as a solo artist. His first solo album, 'Golden', further expanded his musical horizons.
