MBC's new entertainment program, 'Coach Kim Yeon-koung,' has unveiled its lineup and a second poster, sparking anticipation for its premiere.

The show, set to air on the 28th at 9:10 PM, follows the journey of Kim Yeon-koung, a legendary figure in Korean women's volleyball, as she transitions from player to coach and establishes a new team named 'Winning Underdogs.'

This project is particularly noteworthy for providing a second chance to athletes who were released from professional teams, retired, or struggled to find opportunities. Coach Kim has assembled a team of seven players with diverse backgrounds, including former national player Pyo Seung-ju, setter Lee Jin, Kim Na-hee, Lee Na-yeon, Inkuush from Mongolia, Gu Sol, and Yoon Young-in.

The released poster captures Coach Kim and her team, displaying a strong resolve on the court, hinting at the dramatic comeback stories to unfold. Supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Agency, 'Coach Kim Yeon-koung' promises an exciting start to the 'Winning Underdogs' journey.

Kim Yeon-koung is widely regarded as the greatest player in Korean women's volleyball history, famously leading the national team to the semifinals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Even after retiring from active play, she continues to contribute to the volleyball world as a coach. Her new venture in this program marks another exciting chapter in her illustrious career.
