Actress Jeon Jong-seo expressed her special feelings about returning to Canada, a country where she once studied abroad, through her film 'Project Y'. Attending the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Jeon participated in a close-up talk session with co-star Han So-hee, sharing insights about the movie and personal reflections.

For Jeon, who lived in Canada from her middle school days, Toronto holds a special place. She conveyed her joy in being able to see her family, especially expressing gratitude that they could attend the premiere screening. She also repeatedly thanked Han So-hee for attending despite not feeling well, highlighting their strong bond.

Jeon playfully shared anecdotes about Canada's cold weather, showing a hand warmer she kept close during the interview. She mentioned that a heated mattress purchased by her manager made her hotel stay much more comfortable, and she couldn't hide her satisfaction looking at the packed audience seats.

'Project Y' depicts the story of two women, Mi-sun (played by Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (played by Jeon Jong-seo), who embark on a dangerous deal to escape their desperate reality. Directed by Lee Hwan, the film was officially invited to the festival's Special Presentations section, receiving enthusiastic attention from the local audience.

Jeon Jong-seo debuted in 2018 with the film 'Burning,' immediately garnering significant attention. She has since showcased a wide acting spectrum in various works such as 'The Silenced,' 'The Call,' and 'Mona,' and captivated global fans with her intense portrayal in the Netflix series 'Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area.'
