Forestella Delivers Unforgettable Live Performance at Encore Concert 'THE WAVE'
The acclaimed group Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Cho Min-kyu, Ko Woo-rim) has once again showcased their exceptional live artistry at their 2025 encore concert, 'THE WAVE'. Held on December 13th and 14th at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul, the encore performance served as a continuation of the emotional journey from their national tour.
Enhancing the experience with new song selections and richer instrumental arrangements, this concert offered a dimension of enjoyment distinct from previous shows. The live accompaniment, featuring a grand piano and a string quartet, blended perfectly with Forestella's profound vocals, creating a majestic and moving atmosphere. Performances of 'Flower Vase,' previously seen on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' and the newly prepared 'Nocturne' captivated the audience with the members' delicate harmonies.
Beyond their original compositions, Forestella delighted fans with cover stages of renowned songs like 'Angel,' 'Scarborough Fair,' and 'Shape of You.' Collaborations with the dance team 'The Page' and LJ for energetic performances of 'Abracadabra,' 'Bad Romance,' and 'HandClap' further amplified the concert's excitement.
Having successfully concluded their two-year tour, Forestella has solidified their reputation as 'performance powerhouses.' Following the successful encore concerts, their upcoming solo performance 'An Island Met Music - Yongho Island Forestella' in Tongyeong on December 20th also saw all tickets sell out in a mere 62 seconds, underscoring the immense anticipation. Forestella continues to engage with fans through diverse music and performances.
Forestella, formed after winning the second season of JTBC's 'Phantom Singer' in 2017, is a crossover male quartet. Their exceptional musical talents and synergy allow them to perform across various genres including classical, pop, and musical theatre, attracting a wide fanbase. Their emotionally resonant stages and powerful vocalizations have garnered significant acclaim both domestically and internationally.
