Sung Si-kyung's management agency, SK Jaewon, has issued an official statement addressing allegations of operating without the proper registration for a cultural and artistic planning business.

The agency stated, "We established our corporation in February 2011 according to the laws at the time. Subsequently, in January 2014, the Act on the Development of the Culture and Arts Industry was enacted, establishing a new obligation to register as a cultural and artistic planning business. We were unaware of this new registration requirement."

"We deeply apologize for our lack of awareness and preparation regarding the relevant laws," the statement continued. "Upon realizing this fact, we immediately began the registration process and are doing our utmost to complete all procedures swiftly and fulfill all legal requirements."

SK Jaewon had been operating without registering as a cultural and artistic planning business since its establishment in February 2011. Sung Si-kyung has been affiliated with the agency since 2018 after his contract with Jellyfish Entertainment concluded.

The agency reiterated its apology, saying, "We sincerely apologize for causing concern with this matter and will ensure thorough compliance with relevant laws and operate with greater responsibility going forward."
