Koyote's Shin-ji Unveils Dreamy New Home Ahead of Wedding: A Sneak Peek Inside
Singer Shin-ji, soon to be a bride, has offered her global fanbase an exclusive first look at her brand-new marital home, sparking considerable excitement.
On the 17th, a video titled 'A Karaoke Room in the New Home?! Shin-ji of Koyote's Rural House Revealed for the First Time ㅋㅋ' was uploaded to her YouTube channel, 'Eotteosinji?!?' "I'm a bit nervous since this is my first time revealing my home, and especially my newlywed home," Shin-ji confessed as she began showcasing her fully furnished residence.
She explained her choice for a spacious, detached house, highlighting its multiple floors and ample square footage. The home features a walk-in closet for her fiancé and extensive storage for her own impressive shoe collection, even repurposing a large traditional chest as a stylish shoe rack.
With four bathrooms in total, the house is designed to comfortably accommodate guests and family. The living room boasts a unique intercomm system, and the dining area is playfully stacked with dried seaweed (gim) that her fiancé adores. Shin-ji also shared that for her first housewarming party, Koyote member Kim Jong-min gifted a kimchi refrigerator, while Baekga contributed a styler.
A dedicated space displays limited-edition Mickey Mouse items and dolls gifted by fans, with plans to add wedding photos for a personal touch.
Moving upstairs to the second floor, Shin-ji revealed two personal dressing rooms, a dedicated bathroom for her fiancé, and a highly functional laundry room equipped with a tower washer-dryer setup.
The anticipated master bedroom tour showcased its generous size, another dressing room, and the longed-for full-length mirror. A safe for valuables is also slated for installation beside the bed. A minor drawback mentioned was the lack of towel racks in the master bathroom.
The highlight, however, was a surprise karaoke room hidden away. "You can use it anytime without coins!" Shin-ji announced, impressed by the state-of-the-art system that allows users to listen to music and their own voice through headphones, ensuring privacy. The karaoke room, complete with a ventilation system, is poised to become a hub for future content.
The third floor is set up as a studio or attic space, featuring a terrace, computer, and recording equipment, enabling her to produce music at home. "It's soundproofed to prevent sound leakage," she noted with satisfaction. While initially intended as a computer room for her fiancé, she admitted she also plans to use it for her own music production.
In the home gym area, she reminisced over concert photos and cherished gifts from fans, describing the third floor as a "place where memories accumulate."
The spacious balcony connected to the third floor has solar panels, promising reduced electricity bills. Previously, the original owner had installed a telescope and dome, but these have been replaced with the eco-friendly energy solution.
Finally, the completed deck in the yard was revealed, though it requires repainting due to continuous rain. Shin-ji shared details about her fiancé's colorful DIY attempts with glow-in-the-dark stones. She expressed a desire for an outdoor barbecue area with a glass enclosure for winter use but is hesitant due to the high cost. She appealed to viewers for expert advice in the comments.
Shin-ji concluded by promising to share more content from her new home on her YouTube channel.
Shin-ji debuted as a member of the iconic K-pop group Koyote in 1998 and remains an active and beloved artist.
